Gampac is eager to bring on board a self-motivated Supply Chain Analyst. The Supply Chain Analyst will be the liaison between Category Management, National Accounts and various Gampac Departments. They will provide an understanding of the transportation industry, and in-depth analytics to drive growth in opportunities in vendor management, new lanes under management and freight revenue negotiations. 


  • Create linkages to key departments in all business units and become an expert in transportation issues and opportunities within FSA and SSA.
  • Lead efforts in development and implementation of new reporting, analysis and optimization tools. Provide reporting to monitor revenue within vendors and cost with carriers to help make data driven decisions and support freight negotiations.
  • Conduct transportation analysis to support Category Management RFP’s, vendor transitions, and new National Accounts opportunities.
  • Negotiate freight with Category Management Vendors in alignment with the transportation market.
  • Have a detailed understanding of the SGA Network to provide tracking, analyzing, and communicating freight revenue performance and exceptions and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external customers to deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain working knowledge of end-to-end supply chain components including forecasting, inventory management, basic department management, DC operations, and supplier order fulfillment.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Computer Science, required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in one of the following industries: supply chain management, transportation, food, or national accounts.
  • Expert knowledge in Excel functions such as V-lookup, H-lookup, Pivot Tables, Data models, Power Pivot, Power View.
  • Demonstrates the ability to ask fact-finding questions, identify the appropriate data sources and determine logic to find the optimal solution using analytics.
  • Understands transportation rate structures, hub networks, and general transportation industry best practices.
  • Strong team player with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent planning, communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation and drug test
